People: THE STYLE ICONS

People

Style never fades. Especially not for those who are known in history for their great sense of style. Even though we don’t like to admit it, we all are a little jealous of these kinds of men. Of the way they wear there bold or classic outfits with confidence, of their attitude and most of all of their wardrobes. We figured that these three gents absolutely belonged in our ‘Style Icons File’…

Steve McQueen – “Denim + leather + attitude”

McQueen was, besides world’s most popular film star of his time, also a man of great style. His style is effortless in the way he wears it. He’s got this nonchalant attitude that we all can learn a thing or two from. It’s for a reason he was (and still is) often called “the king of cool”. One of the most important features of McQueen’s wardrobe is the fact that he makes sure all his clothing fits him perfectly. This way it doesn’t matter if he is wearing his denim or leather jackets, he looks iconic either way.

George Clooney – “Suits + few but good quality accessories”

Every man wants to be him and every woman wants to be with him – and that while he is already over his 50’s. I am talking about George Clooney.  Besides persuasively saying “What Else?” while sipping Nespresso, Clooney established his name as a true style icon throughout the years. While everyone at that time was wearing jeans beneath blazers, Clooney decided to bring back the classic suit. Combined with a pair of good quality shoes and a clean haircut (that he claims to cut himself) is this the basis of his timeless look.

Ryan Gosling – “Coloured suits + rolled up sleeves + sunglasses”

You’d think that people that are always being followed by media try to blend in with the crowd, especially regarding their style. Well, Ryan Gosling does the exact opposite. He is one of few who can rock a coloured suit and does it with flair. Another, more nonchalant, look he loves to wear is the casual shirt with rolled-up sleeves and his signature sunglasses. No matter if he is dressed casual or fancy, Ryan looks extremely cool either way.
